Dr. Brooks qualified from The University of Wales in 1990. She is a GP Trainer and the Caldicott Guardian. She has developed an interest in Medical Education and Women's Health.
DR NOEL MCLOUGHLIN
MB BCh (Wales) 1984 MRCGP 1992 - Part Time GP Partner
Dr. McLoughin qualified from the University of Wales in 1984. He has developed a specialist interest in Minor Surgery and Diabetes.
DR MATTHEW JONES
GP Partner - Full Time - MBBch, MRCP (2015), MRCGP (2019). PGCertMedEd and DCIM.
Dr. Matthew Jones qualified from Cardiff University in 2011. He works 7 sessions a week in the practice and also works for the Cardiff & Vale GP out of hours service. He is a GP trainer and has a particular interest in Diabetes, Medical Education and Men's Health.
DR TOMOS REES
Salaried GP - Part Time
Dr. Rees qualified from Cardiff University in 2013. He has experience in many specialties that he rotated through as a Junior Doctor. He joined the practice in 2020. He is also able to perform joint injections. *Siarad Cymraeg*
DR LAURA RIDGWAY
Salaried GP - Part Time
MBBS (2004) Bart and The London. MRCP (2008) MRCGP (2010) Dr. Ridgway has been at St Isan Road since 2017. She works 6 sessions per week and is developing a special interest in Women's Health.
DR ROSS PRICE
Salaried GP - Part Time - MBBCh BA (Hons) MRCGP
Dr Price qualified from Swansea University in 2016. He joined the team in 2023, and works 6 sessions a week at the practice. He also works for the Cardiff & Vale GP out of hours service.
DR ABIGAIL TULLETT
GP Registrar
Dr. Tullett graduated from Cardiff University in 2015. She is in the final year of her Specialist Training to become a GP. She is currently on leave and will return in May 2024.
DR BAILEY DAVIES
GP Registrar
Dr. Davies graduated from Cardiff University in 2015. She wishes to develop an interest in Women's Health.

Dr. Hughes is a GP ST2 and will be on placement with St Isan Road until August 2024.

SUSIE FREEMAN
Susie is our Senior Practice Nurse and Respiratory Lead. As our Nurse Manager she leads our nursing team in chronic disease management at the Practice, looking after our patients with diabetes, chronic respiratory problems, and hypertension. Susie is also trained to provide advice and treatment for Minor Illness.
SUE TOOGOOD
Sue started working for the Surgery in July 2015. Sue was previously a District Nurse for the North Cardiff area who has since been developing her skills in all areas of practice nursing including chronic disease management.
LOREN COTTAM
Loren graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Adult Nursing in 2020 and started working at the practice in November 2021. Since starting Loren has completed numerous training courses and continues to develop her skills in all areas of practice nursing including chronic disease management.
Healthcare Assistants
RUTH LEEDS
Ruth runs our Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning Health Care Support Worker clinics, for anti-coagulation management, ECG's, BP checks and phlebotomy.

Nicola is the Carer Champion for our practice and can signpost patients and families to useful support organisations. The practice has achieved the Bronze level award under the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan GP Carer Accreditation Scheme in recognition of our work towards supporting informal carers.
